Catch up to Wednesday June 7

We've been working our way through a Civics Learning Unit ...  a unit to get my students ready to do Civics online or in class next semester.

I really do recommend that my students do Civics/Careers online. It's the best way to move forward, in my humble opinion.

In any case, we have some time to work on it in class and we are learning cool stuff that should get everyone ready for the Civics course.

And we're working on it together, in class.

Thursday May 24

We are still moving forward with the Blended Learning Unit. The link is here. We are up to BLU A4 today.

Seems we can do this!

Woo!

Tuesday and Wednesday May 17

Tuesday and Wednesday were both lightly attended classes, as students were away for a variety of school functions and events.

We worked steadily on the Culminating Activites on both days.

Please keep working on this 30% piece of your final mark!

Almost done!

Monday May 15

Today we worked on Part B of the Culminating Activity for this course.

Most did a bang up job of it - I'm looking forward to reading them!

For a bit of fun, we watched a bit of this:

Friday May 12

So, I'm not sure what happened to the last few posts.

Meh - Its all good.

We got through to Part B of the Culminating Activity in this class today. We also watched this guy:

You can do it!

Tuesday May 9

We finished the film study of Seven Years in Tibet.

Tomorrow, we'll get on to something ... more practical.

Still, what a film!
