Tuesday and Wednesday May 17

Tuesday and Wednesday were both lightly attended classes, as students were away for a variety of school functions and events.

We worked steadily on the Culminating Activites on both days.

Today we worked on Part B of the Culminating Activity for this course.

Most did a bang up job of it - I'm looking forward to reading them!

We finished the film study of Seven Years in Tibet.

Tomorrow, we'll get on to something ... more practical.

I thought I might be away today, so it was going to be a fairly straight forward class.

As it turned out, I was there in the class today; we did do a study of Seven Years in Tibet. We are going to finish it on Monday.

Monday May 1

We made it to May!

Well, we started U4A1 today - which was a powerpoint we went through together and we chatted about Finding a (summer) Job.

We brought back the Networking assignment where we listed the people around us that might be able to help find a job, too.

The assignment was to: 1) find three job opportunities. 2) Write in an informal manner for each one how your skills would make you suited for the job.
